Per email from Alicia Jerger, City of Tempe Boating:
Over the last few weeks, the Tempe Community Action Agency (TCAA) has been working with the City of Tempe to find a home for a new famers' market. The farmers' market was approved by City Council to be held in the parking lot, under the freeway, next to the boatyard, and will be held on Sunday's throughout the spring and into summer.
The market will begin this Sunday, March 2nd at 8:00 a.m. The majority of the market will be set up in the east section of the parking lot, leaving the row next to the boat storage open for parking, in addition to the parking at Marquee. (They have worked out a deal with the Marquee theater to open up that lot on Sunday mornings for free public parking.) The market intends to have some food trucks as well as vendors, so please take the opportunity to enjoy the market after you get off the water
